Welcome to the EBMWG

An association dedicated to the advancement of Diagnostic Bone Marrow Haematopathology.

The European Bone Marrow Working Group (EBMWG), founded in 1993, is a scientific association, formally registered in Utrecht, Netherlands.

The EBMWG aims to advance bone marrow haematopathology by the

  • organization of scientific meetings, workshops, tutorials, and seminars
  • promotion of scientific collaboration among group members
  • scientific and educational cooperation with allied societies
  • exchange of ideas and the dissemination of knowledge worldwide
  • integration of relevant data from allied sciences
  • stimulation of interest in research and the improvement of technology and methodology

The EBMWG will not undertake any commercial activity unless it is necessary for the materialization of its scientific aims.

Representatives

Since 2018, one EXCO member is included to represent the growing group of molecular biologists active in haematopathology diagnostic practice. Moreover, representatives of our sister organisations: the European Bone Marrow Working Group (EBMWG) and Society for Hematopathology take part in the EBMWG EXCO.
